Tameeka comes from a commercial banking background and is sad to say that she's old enough to have been in banking and finance for 20 years! Her specialties are commercial lending for businesses, home lending for self employed applicants as well as lending for residential investments having personal experience in long term and AirBnB rentals. She also loves to work with separated partners and first home buyers are high on the list of favourite clients to work with. Outside of work and business, Tameeka has two teenage girls who keep her busy as Mum-Uber. She loves good food and wine and enjoys travelling near and far. Tameeka is very self aware of her ‘Why’ – the reason she’s here and doing life this way – and is motivated and inspired by helping people who are less fortunate than herself. She considers it part of her job to ensure that wealth and knowledge is spread around and that others have an opportunity to progress in the world where they might not have had an opportunity otherwise. Before joining Ruby Sky Finance, Joel enjoyed many years in the banking industry across ANZ and NAB, starting in Cairns in beautiful Far North Queensland before moving back to Tasmania. Starting out in branch land at ANZ, Joel soon found his way into Small Business Banking and enjoyed the variety and speed in this area. Joel’s most consistently rewarding aspect of the job is supporting passionate self-employed clients realise their dreams of business success and home ownership, and nothing delights him more than providing a client with a timely and appropriate loan approval. Joel’s property journey started with his first home purchase in Cairns, a renovation and flip job that was equally challenging and enjoyable. Joel has since purchased 2 properties in the Huon Valley, and currently lives on a rural lifestyle property 5 minutes from Huonville with his family, some sheep, ducks, and chickens (miniature goats coming shortly). At home, Joel has a son who is full of energy and cheekiness, a Beagle who enjoys eating even more than Joel, a very busy and huge Golden Retriever puppy and his lovely wife, Victoria. In his spare time Joel enjoys cooking, travelling, all things sport, and spending time with his family in the Huon Valley in Southern Tasmania.

Lea dreamed of becoming a writer, spinning romcoms that her classmates couldn’t get enough of, however, life happened, and the responsibilities of adulting led her towards the practical path of the Business world where she dedicated nearly eight years of her career. She has now brought her expertise to the Ruby Sky team where she is working alongside awesome people and her super cool boss, Tameeka! It turned out to be the best decision she ever made!! Beyond her professional life, Lea is a devoted single mom to her sidekick, Sydney. Their moments together are filled with movies, shared meals, and occasional escapes to nature, often through beach trips.
